About Refunds

1. Is it possible to cancel an international money transfer after sending it and receive a refund?

The transaction can only be cancelled if the receiver has yet to receive the money.

Please understand that refunds requested by customers will only be for the amount sent and the transaction fee will not be refunded.

※Note that, under any circumstance, all fees associated with refunding the money transfer will be borne by the refundee.
Refund processing will take about 10 business days.

2. How do I receive the refund? How long will it take?

When the money is refunded,
1. It will be credited to a bank account registered in the name of the person who sent the money.
Or
2. We will be sent by registered mail for cash.

※Note that, under any circumstance, all fees associated with refunding the money transfer will be borne by the refundee.

3. How much is the transaction fee for a refund?

4. Why do I have to pay a transaction fee for refunds to Western Union International Money Transfer Service via Convenience Stores?

Refunds for this service are made by direct deposit or by registered mail for cash but we will charge a handling fee for fees and processing fees occurred for the direct deposit or by registered mail for cash.
